Scholarship Opportunities

Our foundation offers a unique opportunity for talented and motivated Kyrgyz students to pursue higher Islamic education at Al Azhar University in Egypt, one of the oldest and most respected centers of learning in the Muslim world.

The Al Azhar Scholarship Program is designed to identify and support students who demonstrate academic potential, moral integrity, and a sincere dedication to serving their communities through knowledge and faith.

The scholarship fully or partially covers:

  • Accommodation

  • Food

  • Studying expenses

  • Travel

  • Academic guidance, mentorship, and student welfare support

Our mission is to give young Kyrgyz scholars access to quality Islamic education that helps them grow spiritually, intellectually, and socially. Upon completing their studies, graduates are expected to return home and contribute to the religious, cultural, and educational development of Kyrgyzstan.

Required Criteria & Documents

To maintain a transparent and merit-based selection process, all applicants must meet specific eligibility requirements and provide the required documentation.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Demonstrated financial need

  • Genuine interest in Islamic studies and a strong commitment to personal and community development.

  • Successful completion of 9th grade (or higher) with good academic standing.

  • Basic or intermediate level of Arabic language proficiency (preferred but not mandatory).

  • Citizenship or permanent residency of the Kyrgyz Republic.

  • Demonstrated moral character, discipline, and a clear motivation to study at Al Azhar.

  • Commitment to return to Kyrgyzstan after graduation and serve the community.

Required Documents (after selection):

  • Copy of a valid passport or national ID card.

  • Copies of academic certificates and transcripts.

  • One recent passport-size photo.

  • Recommendation letter from an imam, teacher, or community leader.

All documents should be uploaded digitally during the application process. Incomplete or inaccurate submissions may result in disqualification.

Selection Process

Our selection process is designed to ensure fairness, transparency, and integrity at every stage. Each application is reviewed carefully to identify students who show both academic ability and a strong moral foundation.

Step 1: Online Application (Nov 1, 2025-Jan 31, 2026)

Applicants complete the online form and upload all required documents through our official website before the announced deadline.

Step 3: Interview

Shortlisted candidates are invited to an interview conducted in person or online. The interview assesses academic motivation, communication skills, understanding of Islamic values, and personal readiness for international study.

Step 2: Document Verification

Our admissions committee reviews each application to confirm eligibility and verify the authenticity of all submitted materials.

Step 4: Final Decision

Successful candidates are selected based on their qualifications, potential, and overall performance during the evaluation process. All applicants are informed of the results via email.

Step 5: Orientation and Preparation

Accepted students receive detailed information about travel, accommodation, cultural adaptation, and academic life at Al Azhar University. Orientation sessions are conducted to ensure a smooth transition to university life in Egypt.
